Camping de Molenhoek in Kamperland is located in on the still relatively unknown island of Noord-Beveland and is in many ways a surprising discovery for the holidaymaker who is looking for peace and quiet, but also for active holidaymakers with or without children.
Noord-Beveland is surrounded by water; the North Sea, the “Oosterschelde” and the Veerse Meer Lake and so rightfully Land into the sea.
The central location and quick access make “de Molenhoek” an ideal camping to make (day)trips. Discover the small villages such as Wissekerke, the artists’ village of Kats, Colijnsplaat, Kortgene en Kamperland on foot or by bike. The agricultural character of the island and the endless views of polder and water give you that real island feeling.
Opposite Kamperland is the old town of Veere on the island Walcheren, very well worth a visit. In high season there is a daily ferry for cyclists and pedestrians from Kamperland to Veere and back again. But also the historical towns such as Middelburg, Vlissingen, Goes and Zierikzee are well worth a visit.
Water sports lovers, sun worshippers, divers, hikers and cyclists get more than their money's worth on the island and the friendly people make you feel right at home.
