- Are fire pits or open campfires allowed at the park?
No, fire pits and open campfires are not allowed at the park.
- I have reserved a camping spot at the park, but I still haven't received my reservation confirmation. What should I do?
After booking online, you'll receive a provisional confirmation of your reservation at De Molenhoek. We still need a bit more time to process your reservation and to check your information details. The reservation will become final when you receive a booking confirmation with payment terms included. Did you make a reservation, but have 3 business days passed without receiving a reservation confirmation? In this case, feel free to let us know. You can do this by e-mail (info@demolenhoek.com) or by telephone (0113-371202). It might also be possible that your e-mail address hasn't been filled out correctly, or that your reservation confirmation has accidentally ended up in your spam folder.
- Is it possible to option a camping spot or accommodation?
Absolutely! For a maximum of 24 hours, you can option a camping spot or accommodation. You will receive a confirmation including an expiration date before which you need to contact us in order to let us know if your option will be definitive or cancelled. So even if the option won't be definitive, we would like to be informed on time.
- Are we allowed to bring a dog?
Absolutely, you can bring a maximum of 2 dogs with you. At the park, the dog(s) need to be on a leash at all times. Around the park, there is a well-kept grass area along the water, including Depodog bins with special biodegradable bags. Dogs aren't allowed in all accommodations; please keep this in mind while choosing an accommodation.
- Does the park offer a service for freshly baked breakfast breads and buns?
Our park does have baked bread service.
- Are we allowed to cook on a BBQ?
Absolutely! Both by using charcoal or gas. Electric BBQs aren't allowed due to the level of available electricity (6 amps).
- Where can I park my car?
You're free to park your car at your camping spot. The gate will open by reading the license plate on your car. Before your arrival, you'll be asked in advance for the details on this license plate. Please note that, at the park, the speed limit is < 5 kilometers an hour.

- I have reserved a camping spot at the park, but I still haven't received my reservation confirmation. What should I do?

- Today's the day of my departure and I should leave the park by 11:00 am. Is it possible to leave a bit later, after 11:00 am?
In case your camping spot is still available, it won't be a problem to check out later. You can inform one of our receptionists. The costs for a late checkout are € 25,00. It is then possible to stay until 18:00 and to continue making use of our facilities. In case your camping spot is no longer available, you won't be able to keep making use of the facilities.
- Do you also have seasonal camping spots available?
No, from 2022 the park no longer has seasonal camping spots. Alternatively, it is possible to choose one of our other arrangements.
- Is it possible to option a camping spot or accommodation?
Absolutely! For a maximum of 24 hours, you can option a camping spot or accommodation. You can set up one additional tent next to your caravan, no bigger than 4 m2.

Each camping spot has 6 amps, and the camper spots have 10 amps.

If you will be coming to the park with your own camping equipment, you can check in from 14:00 and will have to check out before 11:00. If you will be hiring one of our accommodations, you can check in from 15:00 and will have to check out before 10:00.

- What is the temperature of the swimming pool?
The swimming pool is heated by solar panels and heat pumps. The temperature of the swimming pool varies with the surrounding temperature, but on average it is 24 degrees Celsius.

- I have made a reservation at De Molenhoek. How do I pay for my vacation?
After making a reservation, you will receive a reservation confirmation. Here, you will see the total price of your reservation and the exact payment terms. If you exceed the payment terms, you will receive a reminder and potentially a dun from us. Did you forget to pay? Contact our reception as soon as possible!
- What to do in case of cancellation?
We know that having to cancel your vacation is no fun! That's why we advise you to get a cancellation insurance before the vacations commence. You can do this with us, or with your own insurance office.
